Almond Butter

This is such an easy way to save money, get creative in the kitchen, and it can make a sweet birthday gift—

At 350F toast raw, unsalted almonds in a rimmed pan. in a good blender or food processor, blend until smooth.

Blending will take a long time— you’re going to think the mixture will never become smooth but stick with it! at first, it should look like an almond flour, then slowly transition into a dough-like texture.

Continue scraping down the sides of your blender and breaking up large chunks, eventually you’ll have perfectly creamy almond butter!

Once the consistency is smooth, you can mix in anything, maybe a bit of vanilla, cinnamon, salt, or maple syrup.

You can use the same method to make nut butter out of whatever nuts you have on hand, or roast a few different types together for a mixed nut butter.
